Terms of Use

Effective July 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and Dot 1 Technologies VBA ("we").

The service

OpsGlance is an iOS and watchOS app that displays the health of AWS resources using read-only credentials you provide, and can deliver push notifications about CloudWatch alarm state changes via our relay service.

License

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service.

Subscriptions

OpsGlance Pro is an auto-renewing subscription billed through your Apple account (monthly or yearly). It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings. Prices are shown in the app before purchase.

Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the AWS credentials you create and use with the app, and for any AWS charges in your own accounts. CloudWatch alarms, and minimal usage by the optional alert stack, are billed by AWS to you under your AWS agreement.
• Use the recommended dedicated read-only IAM user. Do not use root credentials.
• You may not reverse engineer the app or abuse the relay service.

No guarantee of delivery - important

OpsGlance is a convenience, not a critical alerting system. Notification delivery depends on Apple's push service, network conditions, iOS background scheduling, and services outside our control. Delayed alerts on the free tier are inherently best-effort. Do not rely on OpsGlance as your only monitoring or alerting mechanism for systems where failure causes harm or significant loss.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app and relay are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dot 1 Technologies VBA is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including losses caused by missed, delayed, or inaccurate notifications or displayed data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination and changes

We may modify or discontinue the service or these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. You can stop using the service at any time; deleting the app removes your credentials from the device.
